My motivation to continue my triathlete training, aspiring to reach the Olympic Games, is the platform it will give me to speak about positive change throughout the world, as well as using the opportunity I believe God has given me. I believe high profile athletes / celebrities have a fantastic opportunity to influence others in a really positive way, and I want to use my platform to help people find their purpose, help with projects, improving the quality of other peoples lives and inspire change that will affect everyone in a better way.

Genesis 215 Campaign

Since leaving East Sussex College with my qualification in Sport and Exercise Science, I have been studying Podiatry at the University of Brighton in Eastbourne. Alongside my degree, I have also been working alongside the United Nations UK association in my campaign to reduce the amount of unsustainable plastics being used in the bike and triathlon industry, called the Genesis 215 Campaign.

As I am nearing the end of my degree I am applying to work as a part-time Podiatrist in the National Health Service as I continue my triathlon training. I really enjoy the human biology aspect of Podiatry as well as the opportunity to meet lots of new and interesting people. Working part-time will allow me enough time and resources to be able to reach my full potential as an athlete.
